Tanner Wilburn, CIPP/US

Tanner is editor of Digital Jurisprudence. He is currently a J.D. Candidate at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a M.S. Cybersecurity Risk Management Student at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. He is president of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Association at Maurer School of Law and sits on the executive board of Cybersecurity Club on the wider Indiana University campus. Additionally, Tanner maintains the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certification awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Prior to law school, Tanner worked in cybersecurity for a medical device company and in data science and OSINT research for an IoT company.

Sunny Gandhi

Sunny is a contributor to Digital Jurisprudence, and the primary contributor to Emerging Technology topics. As an undergraduate junior majoring in computer science, Sunny actively contributes to the research community. His publications encompass topics such as cloud-based generalized AI services, social media analysis during the 2022 US Midterm Elections, and an upcoming paper on the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) for legal reasoning. Additionally, he serves as a researcher at the Observatory on Social Media (OsoMe).

With a diverse professional background, Sunny has gained valuable experience interning at companies such as Deloitte and Exelon, as well as government institutions including NASA and the State Department.

Determined to explore AI governance and its associated ethical challenges, Sunny plans to attend law school to further his understanding and contribute to the evolving discourse in the field.
